The walks in this guide explore the region's spectacular blend of snowy mountains, grassy plains and forested canyons, hillside olive groves and vineyards. Thousands of years of history are reflected in abandoned castles, hilltop villages and ancient farmsteads and echoed in splendid abbeys, silent churches and remote hermitages. 40 varied walks from 4km to 25km.
