Biographie de M-John Harrison
Born in Warwickshire in 1945, M. John Harrison was employed as a groom, a teacher and a clerk until the publication of his first piece of fiction in 1966. His novel In Viriconium was nominated for the Guardian Fiction Prize in 1982 and Climbers won the Boardman Tasker Memorial Award in 1989. His most recent novels are The Course of the Heart and Signs of Life. His short stories have appeared in magazines as diverse as Omni and Harper's, and he has reviewed fiction and non-fiction for the Spectator and the Times Literary Supplement. He now lives in west London. Travel Arrangements is his fourth collection of short stories.
