Transformer (Relié)

Transformer is dedicated to revealing the most dramatic and radical renovation, reuse, renewal and repurposing of spaces and structures: from residential spaces, offices, hotels, art centers and schools to public centers. It covers an amazing cross-section of residential and commercial architecture as well as large-scale urban renewal, showcasing projects that frequently cross functional boundaries.
Architects featured include: Skylab, Steven Holl Architects, James Corner Field Operations, and PLOT=BIG + JDS. Projects include Pionen-White mountain, Tehama Grasshopper, NYU Department of Philosophy, High Line, Jumbo Hostel, and Tivoli Concert Hall.
