Biographie de Geneviève Bresc-Bautier
Geneviève Bresc-Bautier is an art historian and General Curator of Artistic Heritage, and was the director of the Department of Sculptures at the Louvre Museum. Initiator at the museum of the "History of the Louvre" section, she has written several publications on the subject, including Mémoires du Louvre (Gallimard, 1989), Le Louvre, une histoire de palais (Musée du Louvre éditions/Somogy, 2008), and has contributed to L'Histoire du Louvre (Musée du Louvre éditions/Fayard, 2016).
Gérard Rondeau (t 2016) was a photographer who created a rare and unique body of work. As an author of numerous books on travel, the ravages of war, French and European heritage, and the world of contemporary painters, his works include Le Maroc : hommage à Delacroix (Presses du Languedoc, 1999), Rebeyrolle ou le journal d'un peintre, with Paul Rebeyrolle (Ides et Calendes, 2001), Hors Cadre (Réunion des musées nationaux, 2005), La Cathédrale de Reims, text by Auguste Rodin (RMN, 2011), and Quai Branly - là où soufflent les esprits (Quai Branly/La Martinière, 2012).
