Biographie d'Alison Gascoigne
Alison L. Gascoigne is Associate Professor of Archaeology at the University of Southampton, UK. She has undertaken extensive field research throughout Egypt, including in the north-east Nile delta, in Old Cairo, in the Aswan region and in the Kharga oasis. She has also worked at the sites of lam and Kabul's Bala Hissar in Afghanistan, and in Uzbekistan. She has published the results of these and other research projects in a number of co-edited volumes and numerous articles.
She is currently working on a monograph on Islamic-era Egypt for the Cambridge World Archaeology series.
