Biographie de Laura Bates
Laura Bates is a feminist activist and bestselling author. She writes regularly for the Guardian, New York Times and others. Her Everyday Sexism Project has collected over 250,000 testimonies of gender inequality and has helped to put sexual consent on the school curriculum, change Facebook's policies on sexual violence and transform the British Transport Police's approach to sexual offences. Laura works closely with bodies like the United Nations, the Council of Europe, MPs, police forces, schools and businesses to tackle misogyny.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, an Honorary Fellow of St John's College, Cambridge and recipient of a British Empire Medal l'or services to gender equality.
