Biographie de Lucien De Gieter

Lucien De Gieter fait ses débuts dans la bande dessinée en tant que scénariste pour SPIROU, en 1961. Il lance sa première série dessinée intitulée "Pony" et collabore notamment avec Peyo à l'encrage des "Schtroumpfs". Mais c'est avec "Tooot et Puit", un jeune pêcheur nippon et une sirène, qu'il s'assure une réputation d'auteur complet. En 1974, les premières planches de "Papyrus" voient le jour dans SPIROU.
Cette saga égyptienne qui connait un succès immédiat se transformera vite en classique.
