Yvonne O'Keeffe received her MA and PhD from the University of Limerick, Ireland. Her doctoral research explored the emigrant novels of Mary Anne Sadlier (1820-1903), analysing Sadlier's role in the construction of a transatlantic Irish Catholic identity in North America. Her research interests include representations of gender, identity and the diaspora in Irish fiction. Claudia Reese is a postgraduate scholar at the University of Limerick, Ireland, where she is currently completing a doctoral thesis on the works of Hugo Hamilton in the context of the Irish autobiographical tradition.
Her research interests include contemporary Irish fiction and comparative aspects of German and Irish literature and culture.
