The Editors : Dimitri Conomos holds a doctorate in musicology from Oxford University and has lectured widely in music history, hymnography, and ecology. He has published on Byzantine and Slavonic chant, hymnody, Orthodoxy, and the environment and mythology. Graham Speake studied classics at Trinity College, Cambridge, and wrote a doctoral thesis at Christ Church, Oxford, on the Byzantine transmission of ancient Greek literature.
He is founder and Secretary of the Friends of Mount Athos, author of Mount Athos : Renewal in Paradise (2002), a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and Peter Lang's Publisher in the UK.
