This book gathers all of Marcos Lpez's work since the 1970s. It presents the main black-and-white portraits of the 1980s; his abrupt change to color at the beginning of the 1990s, when he produced his series entitled Pop latino, as well as the redefinition of local color and the photos of his most recent phase, mounted scenes influenced by the cinema, theater, and painting. The texts accompanying the images include an introduction by the Spanish curator Alejandro Castellote, an extensive and rigorous essay by the Argentine curator Valeria Gonzlez, and unpublished writings by Marco Lpez himself.
