À propos des auteurs

Dr Pasquale Chieco is the head of the Research and Clinical Laboratories, Institute of Oncology, Bologna, Italy. An author of over 90 research publications and several books, he is the President of the Italian Society of Cytology. Professor C.J.F Van Noorden is head of the Department of Cell Biology and Histology at the Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam. His major research interest is invasion and metastasis of cancer and, in particular, proteolysis involved in these and related processes. Dr Ard Jonker is a lecturer in the Department of Cell Biology and Histology at the Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam. His research interest is visualization of biological structures in 3D and 4D by image analysis and processing and virtual reality.
