Biographie de Yoriyas

Yoriyas is a Moroccan street photographer. This self-taught artist received international recognition for his series "Casablanca Not the Movie", in which he depicts his home town with colour, contrast and ingenuity that is far from the cliché of Hollywood. He has been published in The New York Times, Vogue, National Geographic and The Guardian, and his photographs have been exhibited in Miami, Brussels, Dubai, Paris and Marrakech.
In 2018, he was awarded 7th Contemporary African Photography Prize, followed by the Arab World Institute's Young Arab Contemporary Creation Award in 2019.
