Giraffes Can't Dance (Relié)

Giles Andreas is the creator of Purple Ronnie, a phenomenally successful cartoon character in Britain, whose image adorns greeting cards, calendars, T-shirts, and eight books. Mr. Andreae, a graduate of Oxford University, has written numerous picture books for young children, including Rumble in the Jungle, Commotion in the Ocean, and The Lion Who Wanted to Love, which received the Federation of Children's Book Groups' Best Children's Picture Book Award in Britain in 1998.
He makes his home in London. Guy Parker-Rees was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in England. After receiving a degree in English and philosophy from York University, he taught arts and crafts to people with learning disabilities. Since 1989 he has been a freelance illustrator and has illustrated over forty picture books. He lives in London.
