DR HANY ELSHEIKHA is a Lecturer in the Division of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, UK. He has over 17 years of research and teaching experience in veterinary parasitology with over 110 lay and peer-reviewed publications. His research interests include animal modeling, host-parasite interactions, antiparasitic drug discovery and evolutionary aspects of parasitic diseases at the veterinary/public health interface.
DR NAVEED AHMED KHAN is an Associate Professor in Molecular Microbiology at the University of Nottingham, UK. His research interests lie in the field of medical microbiology with a focus on protozoan parasites. Previously he worked at the Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA, as well as the University of London, UK. He has over 15 years of research experience with over 80 peer-reviewed publications and is the author of three books in the field of infectious diseases.
