Tommy Jenkins is an associate professor of English at Louisburg College. He holds degrees from the University of North Carolina, Columbia University, and North Carolina State University. He is the coauthor of Writing Movies, and his short stories have appeared in such publications as Raleigh Review. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his lovely wife. This is his first graphic novel. Kati Lacker is an illustrator, designer, and screen printer currently living in Brooklyn.
Her work often explores the everyday, spending time with subjects that would otherwise go unnoticed. Much of what she creates is influenced by her city surroundings and a love of color, line, and pattern. This is her first graphic novel. Martha S. Jones is an internationally recognized historian of African American history and is the Society of Black Alumni Presidential Professor and Professor of History at Johns Hopkins University.
