Kam was supposed to be my future. But some loves just refuse to die. I thought things would be simpler when I left Alana behind. And for a little while, they were. I fell for Kam. I found a family. A home. People who loved me for who I was-at least, who I thought I was. Then it all fell apart. Now I have something new to cling to. A baby to protect from her, and from the new voice in my head, threatening to make an appearance.
