Work/Play: A Tale of the Ant and the Grasshopper

Grasshoppers were silly people, always making music and dancing, and Hortegrund was an ant, sensible and hardworking.  She didn't dislike grasshoppers, not at all.  Ants did as they did, and grasshoppers did as they did, and as long as they all minded their own business all was well.  Then one crisp spring morning Ch'Tryllia built her ramshackle house alongside Hortegrund's garden path - and she was a very silly grasshopper indeed.   The friendship between two very different neighbors plays out over the change of the seasons in this retelling of Aesop's fable of the ant and the grasshopper.
