The name is Babia. Such naming of crocodiles may seem a little out of the ordinary. Maybe a little unreasonable caress. However, when the priest of the temple calls by name with a plate of rice in his hand, he swears by the tail. and happily also eats carefully vegetarian food. Babiya lives in a pond adjacent to a temple in Kerala. The pond ghat starts from where the stairs of the temple stop. Far from eating fish and meat, even touching is a 'sin' there.
