Wilbur’s Epic Journey

Wilbur's Epic Journey describes the migration route of the wildebeests around the great plains of Africa but tells it as a story from the point of view of a newly born wildebeest calf. He learns some important lessons about his place in the interdependency of life and why his herd is necessary to improve his chances of survival. This book explores some of the challenges and milestones that children may face as they grow up and shows how the support of family and friends can help children grow into independent adults, by finding their own inner strength to overcome their fears; solve problems they may face and even encourage and celebrate with them when the overcome challenges.
