Tinaye Theophany Makwanise is a poet whose verses reflect the rich tapestry of his upbringing in Mutare, Zimbabwe. A graduate of Masiyephambili Junior School in Bulawayo and St Mary Magdalene's High School in Nyanga, Tinaye continued his academic journey at St Columba's High School, also in Bulawayo, where he completed his A-levels.

Currently pursuing a course in Electronic Engineering at the Harare Institute of Technology, Tinaye's dual interests in technology and the arts inform his creative endeavors, offering a unique perspective that enriches his poetry.
