Upon recognising the damage inflicted by narcissistic and emotional abuse in my own life, I turned to self-help books, guides, and spiritual materials to aid in the healing journey for myself and my three beautiful daughters. However, I discovered that the subject was greatly overlooked. The warning signs of such abuse and the way to establish boundaries were not expressed in a way that a child could grasp, and at that stage in your battle, one's inner child needs a simple explanation.
This underscored the need for a tale that conveys the warning signs and the distress involved in distancing oneself from an abuser.
