When The Heart Gets Stolen

He's an ex-undercover cop turned NHRA Pro racer. He hates being lied to and is left at the altar which has left a hardened wall around his heart. He swears that no woman will ever get that close again. He doesn't believe the death of his brother, an undercover cop as a mere accident. A mysterious package helps to convince him. He unwillingly finds himself drawn back into that life. Bailey Matthews is hunting for those responsible for the murder, that's what she calls it, of her older brother and his partner who was killed during a job accident.
She scours the bars to find an elusive driver of illegal races who may hold the answers. She has bad luck attracting the wrong kind of man and she believes she'll never have that happily ever until Brad walks into her life. The attraction is immediate, at least for her. Together, they work to discover the truth regarding their brother's death. Through it all he wonders if he can keep his heart safe from her innocent yet seductive nature.
She wonders what she must do to melt the hard heart, never knowing that she is trying to get him to feel the way she does for him. The race is on.
