Credit cards can actually be quite helpful in our quest for financial freedom; however, they are hazardous to our economic health in most use-cases. That's because most of us, including myself, get caught up with toxic consumerism. Advertising is all around us, and we need to understand how to defeat this constant bombardment to our financial senses. If our job is our only source of income, then we are in trouble. If we exchange time for money to pay off our debts, we are literally slaves to our credit cards.
