Stuck in a whirlwind of chaos, Joanie's life is a repeat of lonely days wrapped in a blanket of sorrow. The shredded piece of string that has held her life together breaks when Joanie's husband is offered a job out of state in Garden Valley. Joanie loses the tug-of-war and is dragged into the unfamiliar territory of Garden Valley to start a new life.
