You've never met someone like Eve. Although she lives on water, her wave reaches land where a loitering narrator succumbs. Eve doesn't talk much but in language that is like the ocean in its wave and weave she takes over the narrator's consciousness. Her sea charms log him on a ride to the Sea of Dreams in her boat. When the narrator returns after this encounter with Eve's wave he finds his world turning apparitional.
