Twisted Summer

It's 1975, the streets throb with the rebellious beats of rock, disco and early punk. Arcades are alive with the clicking of pinball machines, and young people express themselves through art and fashion. In Manchester, sixteen-year-old Megan's life spirals when her drug-addicted mother moves into a treatment centre, but disappears after just one night. Her mother leaves behind a letter saying she's in trouble, but Megan's father tells her to forget it and move on, claiming she's had all her chances. Fast forward five years later, Megan can't let go of the mystery.
Now twenty-one, she decides to search for her mother alone. Was her mother's departure from the treatment centre her own choice, or was there something more sinister at play?
