Traces

In modern war, you need to leave immediately if you want to get out at all. Even in Canada. Following a military invasion of peaceful Calgary, Alberta, a man escapes in order to reunite with his family in northern Ontario. A modern-day voyageur, he lives off the land--and his wits--as he traverses the prairies, forests, and waterways of western Canada. As he tries to evade whoever might be pursuing him, he inadvertently leaves traces of his passing.
Traces that reveal the man he really is. Or do they?
