The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage is a 15th-century grimoire describing how an individual retire for six months and encounter the Holy Guardian Angel. Although the instructions may seem quite simple, few have managed to complete this operation. In 1977 the author attempted to adapt the ritual to twentieth century conditions, and his diary is now published by Aeon Books as The Abramelin Diaries.

Biographie de Ramsey Dukes
Ramsey Dukes is a pen name for Lionel Snell. Lionel Snell earns a living as a promotional and ghost writer for ICT companies, explaining their difficult stuff in simple language for business to business communications. He enjoys far more explaining really difficult stuff, like magic, and has written about a dozen books under pseudonyms. But those do not earn a living. He was brought up in the Gloucestershire Cotswold Hills and was plucked from the wilds by winning scholarships and government grants to go to Clifton College in Bristol and Emmanuel College in Canbridge, where he got his degree in pure mathematics.In various teaching and technical writing jobs he learned how to explain difficult things. He is now married and living near Cape Town. He likes vegetable gardening, good food, cats, movies, sunshine - the usual things - especially his wife.
