Thesis Statement (Gay College Story)

Jon can't win in his art class, where his professor tuts at his inability to improve even the slightest. She recommends that he get a tutor for art of all things, and recommends asking the school's best art student, Darren, to give him a few tips. Darren throws his entire being into art, and his expertise goes beyond what's just on the page as he searches for his own truth in his art. But he's blind to anything beyond the page, and Jon is there to show him that there's more out there than just what you can find on the page.
