The Wings of Destiny is the story of the bald eagle which became the United states' national emblem. It is a fact-based historical tale depicting everyday life and events in North America near the end of the American Revolution. The raptor's adventures will take it from West to East coast during one of the worst winter ever in America, in the reverse direction of Manifest Destiny. On her long quest, she will encounter French « coureurs des bois », Russian traders, Canadian trappers, Shoshones, Blackfeet, Pawnees, Crows, Gros Ventres, Mandans, Ho Chunks and other native inhabitants of this vast land, as well as many animals - falcon, wolf, golden eagles, crows, northern shrikes, Carolina parakeets, etc.
