Canadian soprano Annette Betanski has been a singer mainly in the area of classical music, chamber music and opera as well as some cross-over into contemporary styles. She studied Vocal Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and obtained her post-Licentiate Artist Diploma from McGill University, Montreal, in Vocal Performance.
Ms. Betanski has performed in some of Germany's most renowned theaters and concert halls in recent years including the world famous Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and toured over 50 cities in Germany, Switzerland and Poland as well as music festivals in Canada and the US, such as Tanglewood, the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, Festival of the Sound and the Elora Festival.
Ms. Betanski has taught singing for almost 2 decades, was on the Music Faculty for Vocal Performance at the University of Massachusetts in the US and continues to teach singing in her private studio in Berlin, Germany.
