A shadowy benefactor and a girl literally from his dreams enter his life at the Veritas Institute. An entire school with high school and college level students exists hidden away from prying, human eyes. He and his new friends, who all share different abilities, soon learn that they are part of the Fae.

Jake and his friends are quickly thrust into several puzzling quests, the most daring of which is to find and confront a group of other-worldly beings called The Wicked Three.
