One of the most prolific Spanish comics writers of recent years, the works of El Torres are being released in the United States by publishers like Image Comics and IDW, and recently through his own indie imprint, Amigo Comics. Dibbuks distributes all his works in Spain and Europe. His successful horror books like "The Veil", "The Suicide Forest", "Nancy in hell" "Drums" and now "The Westwood Witches" have gained him the label of "master of horror".
Some of these books have been optioned for cinema, and released in France, Germany, the United States, Spain and Japan. He currently lives in Málaga, Spain.
After a Master's Degree in Fine Arts, Gabriel Hernández dedicates himself to children's illustration and painting. It is receiving the Spanish INJUVE award in 2002 that makes him move to comics, starting with some works for IDW like "Clive Barker's Thief of Always" and "The Veil" and later, "The Suicide Forest".
He also illustrates "The Werewolf of Fever Swamp" for Scholastic, and several fill-ins for Marvel Comics (New Mutants, X-Men), plus some short stories for DC Comics.
