Biographie de Heather Wright Wendel
For over 20 years Heather Wright Wendel, PhD has been studying, implementing, and teaching sustainability. Heather is curious by nature, which combined with her passion for sustainability, has fostered a growing interest on the topic of sustainable happiness. Heather completed a year-long Sustainably Happy Project in 2017 that allowed her to focus on a different happiness related topic each month, with the idea of discovering the key aspects of life that contribute most significantly to her sense of purpose, well-being, and contentment.
Based on her research and own experimentation, Heather has become an advocate and teacher of sustainable happiness and life design. She believes that happiness is a choice and that we all have the ability to create our own sustainably happy lives by taking deliberate and small actions every day. As a result of her Sustainably Happy Project, in 2020, Heather transitioned from her environmental engineering career to become a small-scale, regenerative farmer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
When she is not spending time with her Nigerian dwarf goats, free-range chickens, or honey bees, Heather's busy offering farm stays, tours, and sustainably grown or raised products.
