The Tune-up

Of course, the tune-up fight doesn't go as planned. But there's more to the story than that. The Tune-up is D. R. Feiler's fourth book, and his first foray into the world of professional boxing. The story follows a single boxing broadcast from the opening theme music to the final conclusion with each transition representing a chapter from a different character's point of view, and chronicling the intended tune-up fight for unconventional up and coming Florida boxer, Billy Stormcloud.
The story is followed by an essay called "Fistic Love Affair." Dawn's Book Reviews called his novel, Gorpp the Grappler, "superbly crafted...entertaining and imaginative."
