The Trouble With Falling Criminal defence lawyer Alexis Hall has always been a daddy's girl. Growing up without a mother, she eagerly followed in her father's footsteps to work her way up the corporate ladder, eventually joining his legal firm. But on their first case together, she discovers his impeccable track record is not as squeaky clean as she believed-and after accusing him of corruption, she finds herself out of a job and a place to live.
Fortunately, a pet-sitting gig at a luxury apartment gives her somewhere to stay, and a new roster of cleaning houses and doing odd jobs provides enough cash to survive. Unfortunately, her downstairs neighbour, an attractive but grumpy doctor, seems determined to make her life miserable. Dr Levi Beckingsale has problems of his own. He joined his family's business-a popular skin clinic-to help those in need.
But more and more, his clients comprise mostly of the city's elite. And with his mother's ultimatum to get married or take on higher-value clients, Levi's dream for meaningful work drifts further and further away. Adding to that is the beautiful but frustrating upstairs neighbour, who always seems to appear at the worst possible moment, reminding him of just how badly he's failing at life. He needs to stay away from her.
But can he actually do it? The Trouble With Fame Hair and makeup stylist Sarah Thatcher is bad at relationships. Believing there is always a winner and a loser in love has resulted in her prioritising her career over men. It doesn't help that she is also the unfortunate target of a mystery stalker, which forced her to relocate her entire life to the other side of the city. But then she meets Korean model Theo Park, possibly the most beautiful man she has ever laid eyes on-and with a personality equally attractive.
However, after spending the night together, Theo reveals he's heading to Europe for six months, and Sarah's insecurities lead her to cutting contact. Theo Park has his own insecurities. While adored by his many fans, a traumatic childhood resulted in him never fully believing in himself. But when he meets Sarah, he finally starts to see his potential. and a partner he can grow a future with. After returning from Europe, he wants to pick up where they left off.
But will his rising fame, the re-emergence of Sarah's stalker, and their old patterns prove too much for their fledgling relationship? The Trouble With Forever Dr Kate Croft wants a child. But after being cheated on three times in a row, she is done with men and secures the sperm of platonic friend Hugo so she can have the baby on her own. But while taking a month off to prepare for IVF, she meets Elias Beckingsale, the younger brother of an old friend.
Elias is hot, charismatic, and completely inappropriate, and Kate can't stay away. After a steamy night together, Kate disappears, not wanting to sabotage her plans further, and guessing that Elias would be uninterested in a relationship with an older, soon-to-be-pregnant woman. Elias Beckingsale is a mess. Despite having a successful career as a sculptor, he is estranged from almost his entire family.
Choosing a career in art instead of medicine meant that his parents disowned him, and he's always been happy to play the black sheep. But that all changes when he meets Kate. Reconciling two years after a previous chance encounter, he realises he wants to be a better person for her. However, Kate seems reluctant to engage...until she comes to him with a revelation that will change both their lives forever.
