The Tangled Web - A Christmas NovellaAfter the tragic death of her husband thirty years ago, Anthea thought she'd never love again - especially after all she'd been through. She's sure she doesn't need a man in her life and she certainly isn't about to fall for a self-assured younger man like Mark Webb. Yet there's something about Mark that breaks through her defences, and Christmas is no time to be alone.
Despite her reservations Anthea finds herself drawn into his web, little realising just how much he's concealing from her. Marcus Webster is a name to conjure with. One of the richest men in Europe, he can command virtually anyone and anything - anything, that is, but love. Smarting from a galling divorce from a woman who plainly only married him for his money, he's determined to find someone who will love him not for what he has, but for who he is.
And the only way to do that is to pretend to be someone else. Deception: Book 5 (Part of series but can also stand alone)Sexy contemporary romance, 41, 800 words

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Emily Arden

Emily Arden is fascinated by people and their relationships, and loves exploring stories both old and new about the search for love and happiness. She's been writing since university: first poetry and history, then more recently music and novels. It's the stories about love and human relationships that she enjoys creating the most, and she has recently published her first series of romantic novels 'Deception' (Sexy Contemporary, 15+).
She's also writing a series of historical romances set during the French Revolution (The French Connection) and a novel about a somewhat different form of time travel (The mirror of time). Emily writes about the types of characters she likes to read about. She likes passionate heroines who believe in themselves and their right to a great match. She likes men with a blend of strength and caring - not too hard and tough, not too rich and unrealistic.
Just real men. She likes her characters to be nuanced, and capable of change and adaptation. They shouldn't expect to have everything their own way, as the best relationships involve compromise. But the important thing is that they love each other enough to be prepared to take risks and make it work.
