"Due to your consciousness, you see all the things of the world, which includes your body also. But you always remain aloof as the Knower and not the known. All the known is perishable but not the Knower, who is Eternal. When the fire is extinguished, is it dead? Is there death for air when its movement stops? Can water die by getting dried? The space which has no death is not seen doing anything, but it is the most animate of all the elements.
And what is most active is your own consciousness. It is God only."
