The Right Can't Win

The Left is a world of do-gooders and no matter what the cause, from global warming to saving the salamanders, they have one thing in common. They need a massive, kick-ass, centralized government to accomplish their do-gooder goals. Those on the Right generally want to be left alone and embrace personal responsibility so they don't need a massive Federal government for almost anything save the basics: military, roads, basic safety nets, etc.
People that want to be left alone do not move heaven and earth to put themselves into the midst of big government thus as a government grows, the Left grows in proportion to the Right. Finally, the book explores the ONE thing the Right can rally around, if not to win, to at least have a chance in the political world of tomorrow.
