"This is the book I wish I had as an audiology student."The Hearing ReviewBook Review: April 24, 2024Audiometric masking can be a confusing topic for learners. The Masking Handbook (For Audiometry) is designed to guide a student through the process. A comprehensive resource on masking has not been published in several years. This textbook reviews essential masking concepts in a clear but detailed manner. Several, longstanding assumptions on masking are also investigated and challenged. The Masking Handbook is supplemented by over thirty learning videos along with other materials such as information sheets and data summaries. Ultimately, the project provides a multi-modal approach to developing knowledge and skills in this area.
