In the shadowy underworld of Tacoma, Washington, a secretive cult known as "The Followers of the First Sin, " led by the malevolent Silas Blackwood, is on a mission to prevent the prophesied return of Christ. Convinced that pregnant women with the letter "M" on their palms are direct descendants of Mary, the Mother of Christ, the cult targets them for murder to thwart any potential divine intervention.
The story begins with the brutal murder of Emily Carter, a devout Catholic, which sends shockwaves through the community. Detective Sarah Williams, assigned to the case, soon discovers a disturbing pattern linking the victims. As she investigates further, she uncovers the cult's dark rituals and their belief that eliminating these women will protect their sinister master.
