When an Assistant Sheriff's niece is found dead after she attends a popular nightclub, Lou Ann Jasinski, Homicide and Death Investigator is assigned the case at the behest of the Assistant Sheriff, her boss. A fatal drug overdose is suspected to be the cause of death.
