The Island of the Red Queen

Madagascar's bloody past and present. This is a political novel and a love story loosely based on my experiences in Madagascar over some 18 years - the title being a salute to George Macdonald Fraser's book " Flashmans's Lady" and a century and a half later the history of Madagascar still remains drenched in blood. Tragically the title could equally be "Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose".
