In the land of the Iron Kingdom, a new peace and prosperity is celebrated as a new king reigns. But both under people's feet and in the far corners of the continent, trouble ferments and tunnels. Now, former soldier-turned-yeoman farmer Henn of Blackrush finds himself called out of his new, prosperous, and frankly-dull life to the capital of Staghome by an old friend. Here, he joins an secret group including the mounted-warrior Dunna of Clasphand, the secretive diplomat Ghao of the court of the Dan Empire, on a secret mission into the far north lands to help preserve that new peace and prosperity.
There, they'll discover more than they bargained for, and ancient secrets no one in the Iron Kingdom is ready to face.

Biographie de Costa Koutsoutis

Costa Koutsoutis is a writer who lives and works in his hometown of New York City. He was raised on a steady diet of punk rock records, horror movies, Japanese anime, and crime novels. Some of his work include the sci-fi near-future novella The Go-Between, the short story collection Stronger Than Swords, and the detective fiction of Running The Train and All The Stories, featuring the adventures of PI/bondsman Ben Miles.
Besides banging his fists against the keyboard, he can be found eating a lot of pizza and ramen, chasing the cat around, and watching bad reality TV.
