Rahul was doing well as a detective in the private detective agency, but he was not satisfied. Mostly he was handling cases of pre-marriage verifications of the boy or the girl, Corporate spying, illicit relations or petty thefts in which party had a suspicion on some family member or relative. It was a rare opportunity that he a chance to work with the Indian customs. This developed a desire in him to get into a government job.
Rahul discussed the matter with his father. His father was glad. He always wanted him to become a government officer. As a student, Rahul wanted to become an IAS officer. The father advised him to resign from the private detective agency and prepare for a  government job.
