The Girl's School

The Academy of Fine Arts was founded at the end of World War II for young ladies taught the art of marrying well. In a small farming community, a silver-tongued gentleman offered families a monthly stipend for their daughters to attend the private school. The parents were promised  their daughters would be educated on social graces needed to marry a man of wealth. The war torn families who struggled under financial burdens accepted the monthly stipend and signed for their daughters to be enrolled.
