The Academy of Fine Arts was founded at the end of World War II for young ladies taught the art of marrying well. In a small farming community, a silver-tongued gentleman offered families a monthly stipend for their daughters to attend the private school. The parents were promised their daughters would be educated on social graces needed to marry a man of wealth. The war torn families who struggled under financial burdens accepted the monthly stipend and signed for their daughters to be enrolled. These young ladies entered the halls of The Academy where their real training begins behind closed doors
