E. B. Featherston is just a girl from Kentucky-Home of the Bluegrass, Horses, and Bourbon-with a love of reading, writing, and a culinary degree. After being born and raised in Kentucky, she never thought that she would move away, but move away she did. To a couple of states, in fact-New Jersey and Virginia-where she spent six years of her life following part of her husband's thirteen-year military career.  ?She became pregnant with their first child while they were stationed in New Jersey and spent her free time reading historical romance novels on nights while her husband was on duty or deployed.
Soon it became an obsession, and with her love of writing, a crazy thought popped into her head. Why don't I try to write my own novel? ?Fast forward a few years; husband's retirement from the military, moving back to Kentucky, losing a job due to closure, and becoming a stay-at-home mom, she finally dug that novel she started several years prior out of the closet, dusted it off, and began again. She loves dogs (especially her chocolate labs Bourbon and Indy), writing, reading (across many genres), genealogy, sewing historical garments/cosplay, drinking hot tea, playing board games/cards, and may or may not have a mild obsession with Beauty and the Beast.
