The Deciders

From a lineup of millions, only a handful may enter the vault. Everyone else has a month to live before a gamma ray burst ravages the Earth. Byron, one of the vault's dreaded Deciders, must single out the few applicants whom he deems talented enough to survive. In deciding, however, he also singles out the thousands who will die.
