The Passionate Retribution series spans over several years. Each story is standalone, but to fully understand the characters, it is recommended to be read in order. The reader learns of Carly's relationships with Robin, her former boss, her former partner, Elliot, and a new connection with Leo, an ex-cop who owns a martial arts studio. To top it all off, in book one, a lover, Tyler, from the past comes back to the city to revisit their relationship.
