The mysterious Lady with the Seven Faces tells her own story of how she came to be, beginning with her youth in the south of England as an ordinary daughter to a wealthy country matron dying from a strange, debilitating illness. Violet jumps at the chance to join the bizarre travelling show, and soon discovers the circus is far stranger than she first thought.
